Hickory Manor specializes in breeding and buying/selling sport horse prospects. We aim to produce and offer everything from reliable Childrens/Adult horses to Hunter Derby superstars. 

Our breeding goals aim to produce supreme athletes, specifically with the hunter/jumper discipline in mind, but with such athleticism that they will excel in any discipline you choose. The foals are raised in a laid-back, healthy atmosphere that promotes socialized and happy future winners. Handled daily and properly introduced to everyday experiences, a foal born and/or raised at Hickory Manor will grow to be well-adjusted and brave.

On occasion horses already under-saddle are available. Usually young green prospects, the riding horses live low-impact lives. If not in the show ring, they spend most of the days just hacking or trail riding with the intent of insuring a sound horse with years of show miles in front of them. Since they are ridden and handled by myself, an Amateur, they also develop (if they don't already possess) a great sense of humor that promises a successful career with a Junior/Amateur rider.
